Hello all! I hope you’ve had a wonderful, productive December! I accomplished so much this month, from opening my online business to posting a blog every day from December 1-25!
Okay, maybe not every day.
But I tried.
It was a super busy month with finals, Ryan getting his wisdom teeth out, and launching my business, but I did get over 20 blog posts published (22 of 25 to be exact), and I’ve rounded them all up below! In no particular order these were posted from December 1st to now by yours truly, some on this blog, and others on my new writing blog!
The start of the spring semester. It’s when you’ve got this freshman/sophomore/ junior/senior year thing down pat—but you still have to start all over. And in an attempt to make sure we don’t forget anything important over Winter Break, here are six things you gotta check off your to-do list before move-in day next year:
Okay—it’s official. I suck at Blogmas. But I’m back today with a great, informative post for any aspiring entrepreneurs like myself! If you’re looking to start an online business like I did, make sure you have these things in order before you start:
Hello all! Many of you may already know that I launched my very own freelance editing business last week, and I am thrilled to say the least (and super proud of my brand spankin’ new business website—check it outif you haven’t seen it yet!). In an attempt to hold myself accountable for my entrepreneurial goals, I’m taking a hint from one of my favorite YouTubers, Jenna Moreci, and posting my goals on the internet for everyone to see. My plan is to share my list of new goals at the beginning of each quarter, while also going over my old goals from the previous quarter so that I am publicly humiliated if I don’t reach them (public humiliation is the best punishment, in my dad’s opinion).
I want to take this time to thank Haley Marie for nominating me for the Mystery Blogger Award! If you didn’t know, the MBA is a challenge started by Okoto Enigma in an attempt to connect a bunch of us bloggers from across the web—and I figured, why not?
Hi guys! Sorry I missed my blogmas post yesterday—finals week is super hectic! But I’m back today with another writing-related post for both fiction and nonfiction writers and authors: here’s what your editor does not want to see.
Hey guys! It is officially finals week at my university and I am so pumped for this semester to finally be over. Despite the fact that the last four months have been super boring thanks to useless classes that barely challenged me, I did get something good out of this semester: my teachers recommended some pretty great books to me, and I’m excited to share them all in several mini-reviews!
Hey everybody! I promised a Q&A a few months ago for my birthday and I hadn’t gotten around to it yet, but I figured, no time better than Blogmas! If you’re interested in getting to know the girl behind the blog a little bit more, then read on! Continue reading “20 Questions: Get to Know Me!”→
Throughout my experience as a pretty successful freelance writer and blogger, I’ve gotten a ton of questions from you guys asking what I do and how I got here, and since I’ve been doing it for a year now, I figured I have some credentials to finally answer them.
